What's New on the NJFFL Site Since Draft Night

Draft night is behind us, and the site has not sat still since. Here is everything that has been added, and where to find it.

Live scoring, every Sunday

Scores update on their own while games are being played. Stats refresh about once a minute during game windows, and the Scoreboard and matchup pages refresh every ten seconds on top of that.

• Full starter and bench stat lines, including touchdown distances
• Lineups lock at each player's individual kickoff, not all at once
• The mobile matchup view was rebuilt so it actually reads well on a phone
• NFL Games shows the full slate with kickoff times and live scores
• Scoring Rules spells out every yardage tier, TD distance bonus and defensive bonus

Your team, your lineup

• Roster & Lineup is drag-and-drop on desktop and hold-and-drag on your phone
• Every player line shows salary, injury tag, opponent, kickoff, season points and last week's points
• New: a start percentage on each player, so you can see how often the rest of the fantasy world is starting him
• Warnings if you leave someone in the lineup who is questionable or out, if a slot is illegal, or if you are over the cap
• Bye weeks and locked players are flagged before kickoff, not after

Name a captain

Every week you name one captain on your roster. His helmet patch shows up in your team's colors across the site, and only one captain is allowed per team per week. Set it on your Roster & Lineup page before kickoff.

FAAB bidding and waivers

• Every team has a $100 FAAB budget for the season
• Bids run every Wednesday at 3:00 AM ET, with the first run of the year on Wednesday, September 9
• You get a reminder the day before the run
• Blind bidding with priority ordering, plus the FAAB Tracker so you can see who has money left
• Free Agents and Waivers pages show who is available with ownership trends

Trades

• Propose, counter, accept and reject offers right on the Trades page
• Pending offers are private — nobody sees your negotiation until a deal is done
• The Trade Finder suggests realistic deals based on your roster holes, the other team's holes, player value, positional rankings and both teams' cap space
• Every idea gets a 0–100 fit score with a dial, you can dismiss the ones you hate, and you can pull a fresh batch of ten any time
• Trade Block lets you advertise who you are shopping
• Completed trades post to the home page, and the commissioner is alerted on every accepted deal

Player news, injuries and research

• Player News — a league-wide feed, filtered down to actual news instead of clickbait
• Injury Report — every designation across the league in one table
• Roster Trends — the last 14 days of adds and drops, plus the best players still available
• Player Rankings and Draft Resources — rankings, ownership %, ADP and prior-season PPG
• Player pages with full season-by-season and career NFL stats, scored in NJFFL points
• Leaders and Weekly Awards post automatically each week

Standings and the playoff race

• Current Standings with tiebreakers
• Playoff Watch — who is in, who is out, and what still has to happen
• Power Rankings written up weekly
• Historical Standings back through the league's whole run

Alerts and the app

• Email and push notifications: trade offers, waiver results, lineup reminders, commissioner announcements
• Turn each one on or off yourself in your team settings
• You can install the site to your phone's home screen and it behaves like an app

Talking trash

• Message Board for long-form posts
• League Chat for real-time back and forth

Commissioner tools

• Automatic compliance checks for illegal lineups, cap violations and oversized rosters
• Commissioner message on the home page, with the full note on the commissioner page
• Weekly recaps and power rankings publish on their own

Draft night leftovers

• The auction and seven-round war room lives on at Draft Room
• Draft History has the full ledger with filters
• 2026 and 2027 draft boards and Keepers are all still live
• Scout boards and the Sharter takes archive are under Draft Resources

One housekeeping note

The Toledo Terriers are now the Tampa Sea Captains — new name, new helmet, same team. All of their history and records carried over.
